Lance Alworth

Lance Alworth is a former professional football player and accomplished business executive. During his college career at University of Arkansas, Mr. Alworth received All-America honors. He was later inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. Mr. Alworth played 11 seasons in the American & National Football Leagues for the San Diego Chargers and Dallas Cowboys. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1978. Mr. Alworth was the first American Football League player to receive the game’s highest honor. In 2019, he was selected for the NFL 100 All-Time Team, which recognizes the top 100 players in NFL history. After retiring from football, Mr. Alworth founded Space Saver, Inc. His company built and operated industrial storage facilities nation-wide. Space Saver, Inc. was recently acquired by Extra Space Storage (NYSE: EXR).
